LUKE SIPPEL

Studied Architectural/Engineering Technology at the University of Southern Mississippi and Graduated in 2011 with Honors. Formed Lake and Land Studio with Bill Holloway in January 2015. Worked as a Residential Designer from 2011-2014 at a private lake community in rural Mississippi. Luke grew up in our nation's capital before moving here to Hattiesburg, MS to attend college and start his career. He is married to Julia Sippel, has two daughters Bailey and Kennedy, and has the greatest dog ever named Barney, who is a 75 lb. black lab.

BILL HOLLOWAY
PARTNER/lead DESIGNER
Bill, a native of Laurel, Mississippi, has been fascinated by architecture and residential design ever since he can remember. Growing up on a farm in Rural Jones County he often visited Laurel and was fascinated by the magnificent homes of varying architectural styles that lined its streets lined with live oaks. Bill started collecting house plan books while in elementary school and had his first home design built during his freshmen year of college. In 2006, Bill graduated Mississippi State University with a Bachelors of Architecture and was awarded the Jurist Award and a Scholarship by Marvin Integrity to study at Ghost 8, a Design/Build workshop, in Nova Scotia, Canada. Over the years Bill has worked in the offices of Albert & Associates in Hattiesburg, MS, Foil Wyatt Architects in Jackson, MS, and Robert A.M. Stern Architects in New York City. In 2011 Bill moved his Residential design business, Holloway Home Designs, to Hattiesburg, MS to be the Lead Designer for Madewell Home who was the primary Builder/Designer for Big Bay Lake, a 1,000 acre Lake Community. While at Madewell Home Bill and Luke Sippel designed over 150 projects. In January of 2015 Luke Sippel and Bill Holloway formed Lake And Land Studio, LLC specializing in residential design. Bill lives in the Historic Downtown Laurel Tri-Parks District Neighborhood with his wife Jody, daughter Ada, and his dog, Hattie.

MATT JORDAN
Lead DESIGNER
Matt is from McComb, Mississippi where he developed a passion for Architecture and woodworking while working at a cabinet shop in high school. He graduated from McComb High School in 2008 and went on to earn his Bachelor of Architecture from Mississippi State University. After graduating in 2013, he worked for Grantier Architecture, LLC in Jackson, MS designing for commercial and industrial projects for three years. In July 2016, he joined Lake + Land Studio, and he has enjoyed contributing to quality design work and a fun working environment. Matt is currently in the process of taking his architectural license exams. He and his wife, Kelly, live in Sumrall, Mississippi.

CORI WILLIAMS
DESIGner
Cori, a graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi, obtained her Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering Technology. She grew up in Overland Park, Kansas for the most part of her life before moving back to Sumrall, MS to be closer to her family. In the 7th grade she took an elective class called tech ed which sparked her interest in architecture when she was taught to draw a floor plan from scratch. After finishing high school and most of her college basics, she was given a teaching assistant job for the School of Construction at Southern Miss, where she was able to use her skills to help fellow students learn software and complete correct construction documents. Cori is now part of our team putting all her skills to work.

TIMOTHY LAIRD
DESIGneR
Timothy is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi’s Architectural Engineering Technology program and also holds a minor in Interior Design. His sincere passion for people combined with his love for architecture is seen in his desire to design homes that individuals or families can be proud of, and which will speak of their personal character. Timothy strives to listen, learn, and persevere through daily challenges with his ability to be results driven, detail oriented, and highly organized. These qualities and values come from his Christian background where he believes that everything he does should be done as unto the Lord, not unto men, ensuring that his best is given every day. Originally from Newton, MS, Timothy and his wife Elizabeth now call Hattiesburg, MS home. He enjoys singing, reading, and spending time with his family and friends.

JUSTIN WILLIAMS
DESIGNER
Justin, originally from Slidell, LA, graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering Technology. From the time he was young, he learned how to build and use computers as well as the latest technologies & software. This passion for technology combined with a love of Architecture has led him to a career in design, computer modeling and the art form of creating beautiful life-like renders for our designs here at Lake + Land Studio. He currently resides here in Hattiesburg, MS and is married to the beautiful Cori Williams and has a four legged fur ball son named Mowgli.
